Limitations of Deer Vision technology
Many animals, such as bees and ducks, are able to see certain wavelengths of light in the ultraviolet range that the phones on our cameras cannot detect. Therefore, in order most closely approximate the vision of a selected animals, Deer Vision adjusts the camera image to simulate the actual animal’s eyesight as closely as possible. At the opposite range of the spectrum, some animals such as rattle snakes are able to see heat in the form of infrared light. These images also are simulated as closely as possible.
